Do YOU agree with this statement?
It's always been that way if you're a woman, and it makes no difference if you're talking about the civilian or the military world. “We [women] are surrounded by human animals that are generally larger, stronger, faster and more aggressive than we are, and who often have no compunction (anxiety or remorse) about staring unnervingly at us or making unwanted comments or gestures, or even touching us. It often tends to suck."

Act Like A Lady
Females in our society have, indeed, traditionally have been socialized to be peacekeepers, nurturers, sensitive - none aggressors. Women are taught to always be polite, helpful and non-confrontational. We don’t want “him” to think of you as a “Bitch”. Why not? What is more important than your safety?
